Meditations...........Ps 119:15♥

ALL WE NEED IS A WORD!  Jn1:1

Thank you Lord for "the word" you sent to me through your messenger, our pastor, during midweek service.

In the beginning was the "Word" .......and the Word was God.

2 Chron. 20:1-30    What a story!   Read it for yourself♥

v.2   multitude of enemies on every side

Our enemy presents himself in many areas of our lives(on every side)
              financial pressures and difficulties
              physical disease and ailments
              fractured relationships
              disappointments, unfulfilled dreams and hopes

v.3    Jehoshaphat feared
                 set himself to seek the Lord
                 proclaimed a fast

         The enemy's choice weapon........FEAR!!   Fear hath torment.  1 Jn 4:18

                 ..........the thing which I have greatly feared has come upon me....Job 3:25

              Jehoshaphat's reaction to fear:  1.  set himself to seek the Lord  Ps 107:13   Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses.
                                     ♥ our crying out to our Father brings results♥
                                  
                                                              2.Proclaimed a fast      Prayer +  Fasting = powerful results

           Is. 58:6   Is not this the fast that I have chosen?   ♥to loose bands of wickedness
                                                                                     ♥undo heavy burdens
                                                                                     ♥let oppressed go free
                                                                                     ♥break every yoke             HALLELUJAH

v.15   THE WORD
                        ........thus saith the Lord unto you,
          Be not afraid, nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude: for the battle is not yours but God's. 
v.17  MORE WORD:
                 ........set yourselves
                 .........stand ye still
                  ........see the salvation of the Lord with you
                 .........fear not, nor be dismayed;
                 .........go out against them

           What is your "WORD" ??   Your loved one is saved!   You are healed!   Your need is supplied according to his riches in glory!!

v.18   Jehoshaphat's reaction to The Word:   humble worship
               And Jehoshaphat bowed his face to the ground.........worshipping the Lord

v. 20   the Word of God's messenger, Jehoshaphat:
                  ♥Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established;
                  ♥believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper
                  ♥praise the beauty of holiness
                  ♥praise the Lord

v.22      PRAISE          ♥results in VICTORY
                                    ♥confuses the devil
                                    ♥assures God's presence   Ps. 22:3   (He inhabits the praise of his people)

               And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir which were come against Judah: and THEY WERE SMITTEN!!!

v. 24 .........and none escaped    (complete victory)

v. 25-30  THE REST OF THE STORY ♥    Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that worketh in us. Eph. 3:20            (Yes, Yes, Yes)
